Overview
Who was invited, who arrived, and who is still inside.
A paper register at the gate answers none of the questions that matter. It cannot tell you who is on site during an evacuation, whether the person signing in was expected, or which vehicle left with what.
Visitor Management moves the control to the boundary. The host raises the request and approval is routed before the visitor travels. At the gate, identity and photograph are captured against that approval and a pass is printed with validity and area access on it.
The on-site register is live, so a muster list is a screen rather than a phone tree. Vehicle movement is logged in and out against a gate pass, and the whole visit history stays searchable by host, company, date or vehicle. Deployed at Changan.

Capabilities
From the invitation to the exit
Every step leaves a record you can search a year later.
-
Pre-approval
The host raises the request and approval is routed and recorded before the visitor travels.
-
Gate registration
Identity capture, photograph, company and purpose recorded against the approval at arrival.
-
Passes
Printed visitor and vehicle passes carrying validity, area access and the host name.
-
On-site register
A live list of everyone inside the boundary, available as a muster list during an evacuation.
-
Vehicle movement
In and out logging with a gate pass raised against material movement, not just people.
-
Watchlists
Blocked names and vehicles flagged at the point of registration rather than afterwards.
-
Contractor crews
Repeat crews registered once and checked in as a group against a valid work order.
-
Audit trail
Searchable visit history by host, company, date and vehicle, retained for the policy period.
-
Reporting
Visits by host, department and peak hour, and the gate throughput behind a queue complaint.
Who it is for
You probably recognise one of these.
- A plant whose gate register is a book, and whose evacuation list is whoever remembers.
- An office where visitors arrive unannounced and reception calls round to find the host.
- A site that has to show an auditor who entered, when, and on whose authority.
- An operation moving material out on gate passes written by hand.
