Overview
Four hundred readings a day, and the moment one goes out of limit.
An environment and health department at a plant takes the same readings every single day — several hundred of them, against machines, stacks, effluent points and ambient stations. Written in a logbook they prove nothing: nobody trends them, a breach is noticed days later, and the ISO audit pack is assembled from paper the week the auditor is due.
This system puts the whole round on a schedule. Each sampling point and machine is tagged, the reading is captured on a handheld at the point itself, and the limit is checked at the moment of entry. A value outside the permitted range cannot be filed quietly — it raises a non-conformance there and then, against the machine and the shift that recorded it.
The chemistry laboratory runs on the same register: sample registration, test method, analyst, result and approval, with instrument calibration tracked to certificate expiry. ISO 14001, 45001, 17025 and 9001 evidence is produced from the records rather than rebuilt for each audit, and statutory returns come out of the same data.

Capabilities
From the round to the regulator
Built for a department taking 400+ readings a day and answerable for every one.
-
Points and equipment
Every machine, stack, effluent point and ambient station tagged, with the parameters due at each.
-
Daily reading rounds
400+ readings a day on a shift schedule, captured at the point on a handheld that works without signal.
-
Limits and alarms
NEQS and plant-specific limits checked as the value is entered, with a breach flagged before it is filed.
-
Laboratory tests
Sample registration, test method, analyst, result and approval, held against the point it came from.
-
Non-conformance and CAPA
Raised automatically on a breach, routed for root cause, corrective action and verified closure.
-
Instrument calibration
Lab and field instruments tracked to certificate expiry, with results held back when a device is overdue.
-
ISO evidence
ISO 14001, 45001, 17025 and 9001 records produced from the system rather than assembled for the audit.
-
Statutory reporting
Regulator returns and periodic environmental reports generated from the same readings.
-
Trends and dashboards
Parameter trend per machine and per point, exceedance counts by shift, and repeat offenders.
Who it is for
You probably recognise one of these.
- A plant taking hundreds of readings a day into a logbook that nobody has ever trended.
- An EHS manager who learns a parameter was out of limit when the month-end report is compiled.
- A laboratory rebuilding its ISO 17025 evidence pack by hand before every audit.
- A power plant filing environmental returns from spreadsheets keyed off paper sheets.
